Our client is seeking a highly motivated Director of Software Engineering to lead the development of the Company's next generation of software products. Working in close cooperation with the senior management team, the Director of Software Engineering will be the key individual responsible for on-time delivery of the product that meets functional and quality requirements established. The Director of Software Engineering will contribute as a senior management team member in establishing the product and development strategy and lead day-to-day activities of the development team members. In this position, the Director Software Engineering will own the responsibilities of new product development balancing the needs of the business and the practicalities of software delivery while aggressively motivating the team to do what it takes to meet product milestone commitments.

SW Engineering background (OOD preferred)
External SW product development experience
Familiarity with Linux based platforms
Highly process oriented (Agile) with ability to drive a team of SW EngineersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
