Service Desk Agent Summary
On behalf of our client Procom Services is searching for a Service Desk Agent in Lexington, SC. The primary function of a Technology Service Desk Representative is to provide efficient & effective technical assistance to Bank employees. This position will specialize in System Access & Account Administration including password resets, account unlocks and user procedural guidance through password changes. The Service Desk Representative will provide support via a consolidated phone system support users across North America.
Service Desk Agent Main Duties/Must haves
- must be comfortable with high volumes
- any experience with a ticketing/call logging system is a huge asset
- must be able to type and talk at the same time
- will be providing password reset assistance to internal employees
- previous call center or technical experience
- previous helpdesk experience huge asset
- must be upbeat with 'can-do' attitude, willingness to learn
- must be flexible to pick-up additional hours where necessary to cover off PTO's within dept.
- previous customer service experience
Service Desk Agent Job Responsibilities
Assists users with account lockouts, password resets and procedural guidance on password changes
Utilize all available knowledge resources including Service Desk knowledgebase to provide efficient, effective support while requiring limited support from advanced SD personnel
Accurately and completely record all customer contacts in Service Desk Incident Management system
Offer superior customer service while providing an exceptional experience to each caller

Service Desk Agent Assignment Length
3 Months, possible extension based on performance
Shift: M-F 7:30-4pm
Training: M-F 7:30AM-4:00PM for first 2 weeks

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
