## About Our Agency
Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.
Our office is located in Lexington, SC.
Our office is open 9 am- 5 pm Monday through Friday (after hours by appointment).
I have been a State Farm agent since 2009.
Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Employee.
I am a second generation State Farm agent.
We currently have 5 team members at our agency.

## Position Overview
Are you outgoing and customer-focused? Do you enjoy working with the public? If you answered yes to these questions, working for a State Farm independent contractor agent may be the career for you! State Farm agents are entrepreneurs who market only State Farm insurance and financial service products.
## Responsibilities
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
## As an Agent Team Member, you will receive
Salary plus commission/bonus
Profit sharing
## Requirements
Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills

Provide timely and thorough activity reports to agent
Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
