Job Description
Performs independent analytical initiatives including portfolio modeling, stress testing, and migration analysis. Works with
TDBFG Analysts to validate key PD, LGD and EAD factors that are critical to internal Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss measures, RAROC models and business unit profitability measures.
Participates in and primarily supports the Portfolio Strategy and Allowance Committees, Commercial lending executive
leadership and Finance, and serves as a principal interface with external accountants and regulators (Fed, OCC and OSFI) and
interacts with Risk and Analytical professionals at TDCT and TDBFG.
Supervises and mentors Senior Analysts, Analysts and others with less experience.
Provides cross functional project management and coordination for non dedicated staff. Participates in the development of
new analytical solutions to emerging problems, portfolios and new lending initiatives.
Ensures the effective communication of portfolio and asset quality trends to Senior Management partnering with lenders and
credit officers as appropriate to tailor portfolio specific solutions leveraging aggregate tools and expertise.
Oversees the commercial credit portfolio analysis in support of financial, regulatory and risk management requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Graduate Degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below

Years of related experience
Significant experience required in Credit Risk Management, Accounting, Investor Relations and Finance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Change Management related to the adoption of new business processes
Significant experience organizing and presenting Credit Portfolio results and Allowance requirement to Senior Management
Committees
Strong Credit Risk Modeling and financial scenario experience
Industry analysis and presentation experience
Knowledge of both Commercial and Retail Loan portfolio management, reporting and analysis

Department Overview
The Manager of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Credit Analytics is responsible for developing,
coordinating, managing and producing the environment to effectively implement processes related to TD Bank NA''s
Allowance for Loan Losses. The role is responsible for the management of the end state process to support the
Allowance for Credit Losses.
Primarily manages the Credit Analytics team and serves as a principal interface with Finance. Also interfaces with
external accountants and regulators (Fed, OCC and OSFI) and interacts with Risk, Analytical and IT professionals at TDB
NA, TDCT and TDBFG.
Independently manages Allowance project solutions including, finance applications and information management
modeling. The Manager will collaborate with Senior Credit, Line and Specialty product managers to analyze new or
troubled portfolios, industries, and products through data design, capture and collection that lead to sophisticated
planning support information. May supervise 1-4 Senior Analysts, as well as have significant interface with and
coordinate the efforts of larger teams of US and Canadian analysts in support of US objectives.
Researches underwriting standards and portfolio information and recommends credit policy and underwriting standard
modifications where warranted. Also measures and monitors the organization''s credit risk exposure and provides
guidance in portfolio review and strategy.
