Electrical & Instrumentation Technician - Now Hiring

POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for installing and programming electrical equipment.
Draw schematics to indicate where the wiring and components are installed, then measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems according to specifications.
Interpreting PLC ladder logic programs for automated processes.
Other tasks in this role include performing preventative maintenance inspections and PFC tests.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systemsInstall and program electrical equipmentFollow electrical blueprints and schematicsTroubleshoot or replace electrical components as neededPerform preventative maintenance inspectionsInterpret PLC ladder logic programsFollow local, state, and national electric codesMaintain a clean and safe workplace KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED is requiredCompletion of a trade school or training program is a plusState journeyman license preferredPrevious experience in an industrial environment strongly preferred Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated self-starter Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Includes physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily outside work.
Compensation details:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
